Chaudière Island Viewing platform beside Chaudière Falls Since this has become more of a construction area, we never know if we can get to the viewing platform or not. When we cannot, we see how far we can go along Booth St. and set up our drum where we can. From Ottawa, take a bus 44 to the War Museum (Vimy) and turn left at the traffic lights before crossing the Chaudière Bridge and cross right and walk to the lookout at the end of Chaudière Island. From Gatineau, take any bus to Terrasses de la Chaudière and walk across the Chaudière Bridge on Eddy/Booth. Cross at the first lights and walk to the lookout at the end of the Chaudière Island.
