Power is needed for industry. Industry generates revenue through monetary exchange of goods and services and some of that money (tax) goes to the government for redistribution. Some of the taxes go to fund the aboriginals. So if the power project is stopped then would it be fair to decrease funding to area aboriginals the same amount as the loss of tax revue? I’m sure that they would be the first to complain if their funds were cut. So that begs the question where will the funds come from? Remember government does not create wealth it simply redistributes money taken from the economy.

I’m sure that with all the checks in place there will be no problem with this project.

I support freeing the falls by greening the area with nature surrounded by 4 elements and out 4 seasons. Never forget Ottawa is the Capital of Canada, let’s try and do what’s fitting for all interested parties!
