A grandmother’s story from Asinabka

Since the planting of the Peace Tree on the part of Asinabka known as Victoria Island in July, many people have been caring for the small white pine.

Asinabka is the part of the Ottawa River that holds the Chaudière Falls and three islands below the falls.

During a visit to Asinabka to care for the Peace Tree, Grandmother Christine Vincent had the opportunity to care for and then tell the story of a Canada goose. (PDF will load)
