Five Algonquin communities have united to speak out against the proposed ‘Zibi’ development

Five Algonquin First Nations are calling for protection of the important Algonquin site on the Ottawa River, and stating their opposition to the re-zoning of Chaudiere and Albert Islands for Windmill’s condo development. The First Nations are Wolf Lake, Timiskaming, Eagle Village, Barriere Lake and Long Point. Read the joint statement from four of the First Nations here.
