Support the 2015 Great Migration Water Walk
July 5, 2015
Water is Sacred. Water is Our Responsibility. Water is a Human Right.
This Sacred Water Walk follows an important course in the Anishinabe people’s history, which has been taught from generation to generation by the Elders. Through this Walk, the Water Walkers are raising awareness on preserving the integrity of the water along this route.
Please join us in welcoming Anishinabe Grandmother Josephine Mandamin and the amazing Water Walkers by attending our Welcoming Ceremony on traditional Algonquin Territory. Ceremonies will be lead by local and visiting Elders.
Come listen to the Anishinabe Teachings firsthand!
A Community Feast will follow.
All are welcome!
