Get ready for massive walk June 17

Algonquin elders are inviting people of all nations, faiths, and abilities to join them at a morning ceremony on Victoria Island–the eastern part of the sacred site Asinabka–followed by a walk to Parliament Hill on June 17.
Details and background about an event that promises to culminate in a massive show of support for the islands and Chaudiere Falls being protected and declared a sacred site are now available from the organizers.
Also worth checking out is a new video released by It IS Sacred that features the late Grandfather William Commanda. It was his vision for Asinabka–the sacred islands and waterfall site–that inspired thousands to support the Circle of All Nations and to oppose the condo development that threatens Asinabka.
