Understanding “information picket”

Not keen to carry a placard? Wondering what the term “information picket” means for the public event that will occur on Saturday November 7?
“An information picket is a chance to have friendly conversations with potential buyers as they enter the site, and to share information about the ongoing legal dispute over the land and the alternative Indigenous vision for the site,” says one of the event organizers.
